Florida

"Pretty is as pretty does"... using Triple Crown Feed, he is both!

Gaston was born and raised in Minnesota and moved to Florida almost 4 years ago. He had a lot of problems adjusting to the South Florida climate. The worst being he was plagued with sores that would not heal that always became Florida Sores. He is been on the "Florida Sore Protocol" for almost a full year now. He is staying sore free. Gaston is fed TC lite and a little of Rice Bran oil to keep him looking great!

Dear Triple Crown,

Your Safe Starch saved my pony's life! My vet prescribed it for my 22 year old Shetland, Shadow who has PPID (equine cushings). He's been on it for about 18 months now and he has made a dramatic turn around for the better.

Following the instructions on the package and with my vet's help, Shadow gets 6 pounds of Safe Starch a day, fed 1 pound every 4 hours (yes, I get up twice in the night to make sure his diet is as 'safe' as possible.) My vet and I have even been able to cut back on his medication because your diet is SO good! With Safe Starch and a tiny bit of medication, Shadow's cushings numbers dropped from over 100 to 38, 23, and recently 18 - and he's lost 40 pounds, now down around 420 pounds. I was so happy when he shed out fully this year for the first time in ages. Shadow gets nothing but Safe Starch (made into a mash at 1 pound SS to 2 liters of body tempature water in the hot weather so he's getting enough water). My vet's tough, but thanks to her effots and Safe Starch, Shadow is making a dramatic recovery. He looks great and has tons of energy again.

Thanks so much!
Steve

I know that you probably get emails like this all the time but I just wanted to take a moment to sing the praises of your Triple Crown Senior Feed! I have a 34 year old mare that had a very hard year, loss of a pasture mate and having to move barns a few times. Needless to say she lost quite a bit of weight and we decided to try putting her on senior feed.. Well after trying several different brands and her not doing well with any of them I read somewhere about your senior feed and figured well why not if we don’t do something she won’t make it thru the winter.

So in July we started with your feed along with her hay pellets and alfalfa. And I started to notice a difference after her finishing the first bag. She started to have more energy and became her old stubborn self. Even though this mare normally hates anything with beat pulp in it she was eating up the senior feed with gusto!!! I wanted to share with you how she looked before in June when we started with the first bag of senior feed. And the other pic is how she is looking as of September.

I always recommend your feed to anyone that is looking for a good quality senior feed!

"We have seen amazing results using the Triple Crown Fish Oil Powder. We are feeding 2 scoops per day of it to our top show horses that range from 3 to 16 year olds. The benefits we have observed include an increase in shine to their haircoats, decrease in inflammation in their joints that has allowed for more fluid movement as well as a reduction in stiffness, and reduced muscle tension. With our top horses we have our vet adjust them chiropractically and perform acupuncture on them once a month. Our vet recently came out to work on them and was pleasantly surprised that the horses required minor adjustment and did not require any acupuncture because their muscles were not tense! She asked what we had changed and we told her we were feeding the Fish Oil."

"The Triple Crown Fish Oil Powder is very palatable and even our pickiest eaters have no problem eating it. It also contains a much higher level of Omega 3's than most other products on the market. We highly recommend it for anyone wanting to give their horse the extra edge performing and help them feel their best."

Regina LillyDear Triple Crown,
I'm just dropping you a line to let you know how awesome I think your feed is and the results that it has shown for me and my horse Sunnie. I found this mare on the side of the road in a kill pen. I knew she had problems with her teeth and that she had some age on her when I bought her for 50 bucks but I didn't know to the degree of how bad it would really be till she went to the vet. She went to have her teeth floated and the vet broke us the news that there was nothing could be done with her teeth due to years of neglect, unless I could find a specialist that could help me. I looked and looked and found one that would have had to drive 3 hours from Lexington Ky. But due to her age of 28 and the cost he refused.

So faced with putting her down I did some research on the internet for alternative feeds and found your page. From it I found the Perfect food for Sunnie. Your Triple crown senior feed is amazing it has put close to 400 pounds on my horse since I started using it in July. You can see the difference in Sunnies' pictures from he day I brought her home till now. The first picture I sent you was her first day here on the farm, then second was taken in the middle of Sept. and the 3rd picture is of her eating her triple crown. I drive and hour and a half from my home in West Virginia to Kentucky to purchase her food and it is well worth the drive.

The senior feed is also a replacement feed and I have also recently gotten in a 15 year old paint mare named Storm with teeth problems that we have also started on the triple crown and it is just amazing to see the results. I have further looked into your line of feed and I have found two other feeds that I am going to start a couple other of my special needs horses on.

I just wanted to tell you how much I enjoy your product and show you some actual results from your feed.

Dripping Springs, TX

Suzane WarmackI recently transitioned my horses over to Triple Crown feed and have been really pleased with the results! My horses look and perform better and have more energy...even in the blistering Texas heat! They are show ring ready and happy to get out there and do their job!

Since I do all of the feeding myself, I monitor how each horse is doing. I've found that I am supplementing far less now than in the past. I still have a couple horses in training who have come to me with special nutritional needs, but they are thriving and I will, hopefully, be able to wean them off of additional supplements.

Triple Crown is the highest quality feed I've found available in my area and it is a simple choice and I believe it is the right choice for the horses at Bel Canto Farms!

Darlene Rutledge
Fort Worth, Texas

When we started looking for a horse 4 years ago – one of the first things I looked into is what kind of feed would be the best to feed our new addition. I talked to the owner of Triple B in Venus and he recommended the triple crown line of feed.

We purchased Kit in June of 2006 – she was a 22 year appendix quarter horse mare, and not in the best of shape. She had been put out to pasture with her 2 daughters and a grandson. She had been a race horse at one time (she had 3 starts and one 3 place finish). She was retired and used as a brood mare. The previous owners were an older couple and they just did not have the funds to care for their four horses any more.

Kit was about 150lbs under weight, her mane and tail were in horrible shape. Most people would have passed her by but she had a presence that we could not ignore.

It has been four years now, Kit is a ‘fat’ and sassy 26 year old mare –that acts like a 2 year old.

I credit the triple crown feed for bringing back her spunk and sassiness. Kit’s mane and tail now have to be trimmed every summer, and she loves to eat!!!!!!!!!!!!!

At the stables were we keep our mare, there are other senior horses and I am questioned almost weekly why I continue to feed Kit a higher priced feed than the other owners….my response is because it is the better feed on the market, and every supplement that Kit needs to maintain her health and weight are in the feed.    -  Thank You, Darlene Rutledge

Marti Long

Marti LongPlease consider marketing your 10% Performance Formula to the HYPP horse; I have done EXTENSIVE research on feeding HYPP horses, and because of an article that I found on the Internet, I started feeding my horse your Low Starch Feed as recommended. Well, my horse really didn't like it, and so I had to find other solutions on how to feed him. I tried every trick in the book which would be beneficial for an HYPP horse; after nearly 6 months I decided to get back onto your website to see if I missed anything. I saw your 10% Performance Formula, and was surprised that it had a lower potassium level than the Low Starch Feed.

Naturally, I decided to order a bag; gradually I incorporated it in with the Low starch; my horse LOVED IT!!! I was unsure about how much to give him, so I decided to add oats so that he wouldn't founder or colic; the choice paid off handsomely. In one year, I can say that this product put a bloom in my horse that was completely absent when I first acquired him.

Because of his HYPP, he was found to have been the property of 7 different owners. I can state that when I purchased him it was virtually site unseen; I only saw video shots and photos from the Internet, and I could see that he had tremendous potential, and I completely missed the malnutrition that he clearly suffered from when he arrived in MA. At 15.2 h.h. and barely 900 pounds, this horse was wasting away before my eyes. Now, he is sporting a hefty 1200 physique, and could probably stand to lose 50 pounds! With a little more exercise, he'll be fit enough to get back into the show ring in no time. (Wow: did I forget to mention that he was bred to be a halter horse? He does has lifetime halter earnings, but he's simply too young to retire just yet!)

Also of note: he suffered from sweet itch terribly last year; since I knew absolutely NOTHING about sweet itch, I decided to purchase some flax seed, and was amazed at how well it worked. I was also surprised to see that you have incorporated flax into the 10% Performance Formula, and so hats off to your company for saving my horse and keeping him comfortable and free of hives. I didn't feed him flax throughout the winter and I was very pleased with the condition of his coat this spring.

He really has come a long way, and I am grateful to your company for his recovery.    -  Best Regards, Marti Long

PS: One final note: I am THE last owner this horse will ever have unless he outlives me. If that is the case, then you might consider offering your feeds for human consumption...since 50 is now the new 40 these days!

Sherry OsborneDear Triple Crown, I am writing because I feel there is no better feed out there!!!

I am not good with words so will just try & say how I feel about your wonderful products!!! I am 60 and been in horse's since a child-- show, train, manage a small breeding farm, give lesson's & judge open shows.

Two years plus, my feed store hung some empty bags of Triple Crown in their store before I read the ingredients & I was so impressed, I ordered the Complete & just happened one of my vets was up that afternoon and I told him to take the empty bag & when he had time to read it & tell me what he thought --- he called back & said an excellent feed!

And that it is!!!!! I use Growth, Complete & Senior & never been happier with a feed I won't use anything else!!! And over the years I have of course tried them all!

Sherry OsborneThe mares look awesome when they foal & the foals are big & healthy. The yearlings look great & the working show horses are tops. I put the ranch stallion on the Senior from the Complete & in two weeks he was outstanding.

I was at a show in March with my horse & we are all standing out in the sun during a Dun Factor class of 17 contestants, and a stranger comes up to me & says “your horse should be on a poster” The judge gave him first in the class!!!

I did not realize Triple Crown is made here, not far from me and I could never understand how it got here so fresh! I love the freshness & I love that when I open a new bag its the same!!!!! I tell people all the time about this great feed!!!! And my horses tell the story with their great looks!

Also the wonderful young lady who represents your feed, Natalie McGowan got my number from the feed store and asked if she could come up to talk. We had a great visit & she offered to put on a free Equine Health Seminar-- she put on an awesome one and everyone that attended so enjoyed it & my Vet also came & told me later what a great job she did!

Also the field sales rep came Glenn Bigelow I was very impressed with it all--- I think this feed is the best ever & I will never change!!

The reason is as I said my horses all look great, are not 'high' on it I love opening a new bag & its the same & so fresh. Your people working for you go beyond the normal day to day work! I am impressed!!!

CassiAnd no, I don't mean The Preakness Stakes. Saturday my mare Cassi arrived at her 33rd Birthday!! And I want to thank your company for getting her there. Her hay consumption is minimal. I rely heavily on Triple Crown Senior to keep her going. What may lend even more sentiment to this statement is I bought this horse in 1980 as a three year old. She's family.

Cindi Altman
New Castle, PA

Cindi AltmanI just received the email sent out about TC Senior Feed and I decided to write you about my experience with it. I am a HUGE fan of Triple Crown products!

I currently own 2 senior horses, one is 28 years old and the other 24. When I first bought my oldest horse (he was then 25, and headed for slaughter) he was extremely thin and obviously malnurished. I started him on Triple Crown Senior and was amazed at the results. Not only did he gain weight but his coat became shiny and he had energy.

I have both of my senior horses on TC Senior and am thrilled with the results. Because of how my horses look, and my eagerness to share my "feeding secret", I have been able to convince other horse owners to switch to Triple Crown Feeds. They, too, are pleased with the results.

The only request I have is, the ability for loyal customers, such as myself, is to be able to obtain coupons or discounts for feed.

Thank you for making great products. It is truly appreciated by my horses and me. Ü

Jamie Houser
Blountville, TN

Jamie HouserI spent 369 days rehabilitating and fostering 2 horses from a large seizure case in TN. I started these two horses on Triple Crown Senior and they are currently still on it and look wonderful. One of them is a stallion and was only able to be gelded a few months ago and is still gaining weight but has done very well considering his situation. During the 369 days I cared for these horses but was told that they could be sold or turned back over to their owners just according to how the case went. To make a very long story short the two horses I fostered I was able to adopt and are now mine.

Fawnancre Pet Care and One-at-a-Time Rescue
Owego, NY

Fawnancre Pet Care and One-at-a-Time RescueHere are some pics of the 14 yr old Saddlebred rescue mare I talked to you about yesterday afternoon. When we got her last October she taped at approximately 875# (she's about 16h). The left facing one was from Dec, before the snow and cold weather and before we started her - on your recommendation - on TC Senior.

She had started to gain some weight on good grass hay and after being wormed, but she really took off with your product and feeding recommendation. You can see a huge difference in her weight and coat condition in the pictures from Tues, 5/22. I haven't re-taped her recently, but when i last checked, she had put on over 300#!

She's bright and has plenty of energy - definitely not a dead-head, but she's not hot or hyper on this feed.

Thank you, not only for a fine product, but for the wonderful customer service you provided us. This was our first experience with a rescue horse. Because of the positive experience, we'll be sharing the pictures w/the other rescues and friends who own horses. We have to travel over 20 mi. to get Triple Crown, but it's well worth it, as you can see. I enjoyed talking with you, and look forward to giving you another progress report and some pictures as soon as our rescue filly sheds out.

Elise SwingI Started using Triple Crown Senior on my 20 or more year old Mule Joe. He did not look very good when I got him and my heart went out to him. So I made sure he would get this product 2 times a day, for the first year I had him. Now 2 years later Joe is Beautiful! All because of Triple Crown. His coat is now shiny and he has life like a 10 year old.

MaryAnn LukeHey there, I have been using your product for coming on 10 years now. I use TC Senior, Complete, and Lite for my different horses in the barn. I couldn't say more about the product and would never change to another feed. I thought I would send you a picture on my lovley retired/rescuded TB mare. I thought maybe in the future you could use her for your Senior feed poster child....she is pictured her at 26 years young! I don't expect she will loose her good condition any time soon so she may look this good at age 30! Thanks for making good feeds that can help me make my horses look like this.

Barb ProctorThese are pictures of Flower the 66 (soon to be 67) year old donkey and Maggie her best friend whom is 30 years old (diagnosed with cushings this spring) and Sam who is 32 years old. All three are on the Triple Crown Senior with Rice Bran.

Flower and Maggie also get a one pound can of Low Starch grain added, with Chaste Tree Berry powder and Remission supplement all soaked into a mush, (all 3 just love their mush!) Flower and Maggie also get some Safe Starch Forage and a little bit of Alfalfa Leaf. While Sam gets some Alfalfa Leaf along with his mush.

All three hardly have any teeth any more. Flower only has about 8 left and they are pretty much the front ones. The few she has in the back are worn even with her gums. Sam and Maggie have more teeth, the ones they have are also worn even with their gums. All of them maintain great on Triple Crown Senior and Rice Bran. I am so pleased with how they look and feel! Every year I used to think would be Flowers last winter, but since I switched to Triple Crown Senior she is so much healthier and looks so much better. She has more energy and is like the energizer bunny (or donkey). I recommend Triple Crown to everyone I meet!

Thank you for all your great help and advice I appreciate it so much, because of Triple Crown and your excellent help on nutrition I get to enjoy my donkeys for many years to come. Thank you for keeping my donkeys, my loves healthy and happy.  --  Sincerely, Barb Proctor

Cindae WilsonJust a quick note to say "keep up the great work" with your feed line! I have been feeding Triple Crown 10% Textured Performance feed for the 3 years.

My 16 year old Standardbred and 27 ish year old pony/horse have done really well on this formula; people always comment on the shiney coats my horses have; the farrier has commented on the improved quality of their hooves and all with out supplements, just your quality feed. This fall I started the pony on Triple Crown Senior, she looked like she needed an "edge" and within weeks her vibrance retruned and she's back to her old self.

There is something to be said for the manner in which you produce your feed, and I don't mind paying a little extra for the peace of mind that I get with Triple Crown Feeds!

Times Square FarmWillie has now been on Triple Crown Senior for the last eight years. You would be hard pressed to find a horse that looks this good at the age of twenty-five soon to be twenty-six, God willing! I purchased Willie as a two year old in training in 1986 and raced him at three, we were at Belmont Park during that time. We are both retired here in NC and enjoying life. Thanks for making an excellent product.

Kate Acia, Cloverleaf Farm
Leitchfield, KY

Kate Acia, Cloverleaf FarmI just wanted to send a thank you to the makers of the feed that we have been using. We used to use Purina and I was very hesitant to switch to Triple Crown, but there is not a Purina dealer in the town I live so my fiance finally convinced me to give Triple Crown a try because it was available at our local Southern States store. That was last summer. Boy am I glad we did!

March 31st, I picked up a horse from Louisville, KY that was in such horrible condition our vet wasn't sure if he would make it. He was so starved you could see his entire spine, hips, ribs. His thick winter coat covered a lot. I had to use a handful of hay to coax Moon on the trailer to get him home. He choaked on the hay I gave him even though it was just a handful, that's how starved he was. The paddock he was in was mud and there was one tree in it in which he had eaten all the bark off as high as he could reach.

His mane and tail were full of mud and dread locks, his coat was dull and he was full of rain rot. We had our vet meet us at our house. He came off the trailer so weak he couldn't stand up. Even before we loaded him on the trailer he was so weak he drug his feet when he walked. It took our vet almost three hours of working on him to get the hay out and his esophagus cleared. Of course, we still had a long, uphill road ahead of us. Sandy, our vet, kept cautioning us about how hard it was going to be to bring him back. The first few days we could only feed him watered down hay, breaking the flakes apart. He colicked a few times during the week but came out of each episode. After a couple of days we started giving him dry hay and a watered down Triple Crown Senior mash. He started picking up energy like you can not believe! In a week we stopped watering down the Senior feed. After a month of being on the Senior, we switched him to Triple Crown Complete. I'm sure you hear this all the time but this horse recovered unlike anything I've ever seen!

Our farrier was out five days after we brought Moon home. He was still so weak it took almost two hours to just trim his feet because we would have to give him a break in between feet. He stood very quietly, he just was too weak to hold his feet up for any length of time. Not to mention his feet were in HORRIBLE condition. Five weeks later, Chris, our farrier, came back out. We had Moon in one of our stalls and Chris asked who the new horse was. When I told him that it was Moon, he didn't believe me. He thought Moon had died and we found a horse that looked like him.

We started riding Moon just two months after bringing him home because his spine was no longer prominent, his hips were filling in and his ribs were barely noticeable....after just TWO MONTHS! The only thing he was getting Triple Crown (Senior to start and then Complete), some Timothy/Orchard grass hay and pasture grass.

In three months Moon went to his first show. He had no prior eventing experience. In fact, he had raced as a three year old, then was kicked out to pasture until he was 12 years old. Then the lady I got him from got him. She did not want him, but in order to buy the horse she did want, she had to take Moon as part of the package. She broke him to ride and used him for about a year in beginner lessons. Then she too kicked him out to a small paddock and apparently no feed. When I saw him out in the paddock I knew I had to take him. I told the lady that owned him that I would like to take him and she gladly let me. Of course Randy, my fiance, was not pleased. Here I show up with a near death 14 year old horse that had done pretty much nothing but sit in a field his whole life.

His first event was 4th of July weekend at Hoosier Horse Park. He did very well in dressage for his first time in the ring and his first show! We got a 39, putting us in the middle of the pack at 8th but only 1 rail from 4th place. Stadium was after dressage and he did great! Went double clear. Cross country was next and I was a little nervous because we had only gone schooling once and did not school a water complex. He did great! Went clear and was braver and braver to every fence! We took it easy and had only entered him at Starter but still I thought it was a great first event! He finished in 3rd! Our next event was August 8th at Spring Run, notorious for their difficult cross country course. We had several cross country schoolings under our belt and Moon was doing so well, we moved him up to Beginner Novice. This would be his first w-t-c dressage test. We had worked very hard though and I felt (along with my dressage coach and event coach) that he was ready. Boy was he! He went in the ring and had a beautiful test. We rec'd several 8's and a score of 31.6 putting him in 2nd!

Cross country I was a little nervous again because the jumps were very large and it was a long course. I mean, who would have thought this horse that was almost dead when we got him would be running cross country (at Spring Run nonetheless) four months later? He was great. He came out of the start box and galloped right up and over the first fence. The fences that I were worried about (they were over BN height) were a breeze and he again went double clean cross country. Stadium was a breeze also. He finished on his dressage score in 2nd place!

The following weekend we went to Long Run Hounds Hunter Pace. I was a little weary because I wasn't sure if Moon was in good enough shape for a 5 mile hunter pace but my coaches kept saying he was. Boy was he! He jumped all the HUGE jumps on the course and he LOVED it. Our team finished in one of the fastest times of the day and he had plenty of energy to spare as he trotted all the way back to paddock we had reserved about a mile away. He was so proud of himself he did a little jigging trot the whole way, leading our team of four horses! Not only has he turned out to be a great horse for me but my five year daughter just loves him as well. He's a big built TB and stands almost 16.2 hands so she's tiny on him. But he takes care of her and packs her around the arena or field. I know I went on and on about him but it really is an amazing story and I feel that your feed helped Moon make the recovery he did!

He went from being a starved, unwanted horse in someone's paddock to a large, healthy, vibrant and talented event horse in just a few short months! So, again thank you so much for providing such great feed! Triple Crown is the ONLY feed we feed at our barn. We have the Growth for our yearling, Senior for a boarder's mare that is a hard keeper and Complete for everything else. All of our horses are healthy and have great coats! We don't feed any additional supplements for feet, coat, condition, etc. The only supplement we do feed is to Moon which is a joint supplement."

Laura Graf

Laura GrafThank you for responding to the recent Horse Journal questionnaire about the quality control for your feeds. By now you must know that you were one of only four out of sixty-five manufacturers who replied. For that alone Triple Crown deserves high praise.

I've just finished reading the comparison chart on page 4 of the June 2009 Horse Journal issue and am now even more impressed and reassured. I have used Triple Crown Senior for nearly a decade, both for the horse I own now and for his predecessor, who thrived on your feed from his late teens until his untimely death (pasture accident) at age 23. I recently had looked into another prominent brand which would cost roughly two dollars less per bag. That manufacturer did not respond to the questionnaire, and will not be getting my business. Triple Crown will, for as long as my 17-year-old Thoroughbred gelding lives, which I hope will be many years to come -- the odds of which happening are surely improved by sticking with your high-quality feed. I'll also be sure to recommend your products to anyone who asks for a recommendation.

Again, thank you for taking the time and effort to answer the Horse Journal's questionnaire, and for producing such an excellent feed for my most excellent companion.

RustyRusty is a 30 year old morgan. He belongs to my best friend Pam. Last fall he was really going down hill. Because of his teeth, or lack thereof, he was unable to get proper nutrition. She tried several feeds with no result. She left him with me while she went back east for nine weeks. Before she left she found your product and started him on it. I continued to feed him only Triple Crown Senior.

He eats no hay or any other supplements, just a mineral block and clean, fresh water. I think the pictures speak for themself. Your product is amazing.

Over the past 2 years I have worked with Robin and the other staff members of Triple Crown Feed to develop the best feeding program for my horse. I discussed Wish Mount's issues with Robin and she developed a feeding program that has more than met his nutritional needs. It is very difficult keeping an ulcer prone Thoroughbred in good weight and healthy.

With the proper balance of Triple Crown Senior feed, Triple Crown Fish Oil Powder and Triple Crown Rice Bran Oil, Wish Mount is now looking the best he has in the 5 years I have owned him. I love Triple Crown products.

Triple Crown Feeds ROCK! After two of my friends saw my coming yearling they switched to Triple Crown Growth. We show and raise Quarter Horses. Our big horses are fed Triple Crown complete and our babies are fed Triple Crown growth. I have been feeding it for about 4 years and WOW what a difference. At the All American Quarter Horse Congress our aged horse just glowed. His coat is amazing! Everybody asks what product we use, and I have to tell them that it his feed that makes him look this way. Our babies probably outweigh babies from the same foal crop by 100 to 150 lbs and look wonderful.
Thank you for making such a great product. I love it!!   --  Michelle

I have been feeding Triple Crown for 10 years now. I have also sent before and after pictures of the very first horse I put on Triple Crown. Since that time it is the only feed I use! It dramatically changed my Thoroughbred and keep my Friesian in superb athletic condition. I used to live in MN and would drive to the cities from St. Cloud just to buy Triple Crown. Now I am in NC and can get it right down the street at Southern States.... I think everyone should use it!

I find it is satisfying for my horse and it helps keep weight on since he is a hard keeper.

I am such a big fan of Triple Crown feed I would be proud to wear a Triple Crown T-shirt so please put that on your "to do" list. Triple Crown was a life saver for my older mare that had Cushing's for the last 6 years of her life, making it to the grand ole age of 33 before I lost her to something unrelated to her diet or disease. I've also fed an older gelding TC Senior, he lived to be 35 when I lost him to cancer. Now I'm presently feeding TC Senior to my 23 year old mare and TC Lite to my 6 year old Arabian/Paint who is insulin resistant. I truly could not be any happier with your feed selections and availability of your Nutritionist Kelly Payne when I have dietary questions.....in fact, I never make a change without consulting with her first.

My 12 year old Thoroughbred has been flourishing since receiveing a daily dose of your rice bran oil. No more flaky skin and brittle feet. His coat glows and the shoer is very pleased with the condition of his feet.

Someone gave me a 21 yr. old that was very poor. I started her on Triple Crown Senior. Within 3 months she put all her weight back on. No more bones showing. Thank you - it saved her life. It's a wonderful product!

I have been feeding Triple Crown Senior to my mare since she had colic surgery in 2002. Most people cannot believe she is 17 this year. There is no need for vitamin supplements, just good hay and pasture. I have tried other Senior brands and there is no comparison! My other mare is on Triple Crown Low Starch, it keeps her energy level manageable and she looks great. Never have to worry about the formulas changing like some other brands! Thank you Triple Crown Feeds!

I have a full service facility here in NH and I have everything from weanlings to older horses topping 33+ years, I have several clients horses that have cushings and have come to me very malnourished. I have been feeding TC Senior and TC Growth and they have all flourished on it! I even have some of my show horses that are no more than 9 yrs old eating TC Senior and I have had numerous comments on these horses when they come out of the show pen as reserve and world champions. Most of my horses have come to us as abused and starved horses and all have gone on to be very competitive.

We fed our old paint mare who has cushings other brands of senior feed for the last 15 yrs. However she started losing weight last year so we switched to T.C. Senior and she gained her weight back and is still keeping it on! I will never go back to other brands! This works so well and everyone comments how great she looks, and can't believe that she is 29 years old!

I have a apendix QH that I barrel race with. He's a very hard keeper. I tried every kind of feed out there and nothing worked. When I heard about Triple Crown Complete I thought I figured it wouldn't hurt to give it a shot, so I did. Within 2 weeks, I saw a difference in his coat and conditon. He has been on it for 2 months now and he doesn't even look or act like the same horse. Thank you Triple Crown - you're the best!

I wanted to touch base with you again regarding my daughter's horse who has a serious case of PSSM. I spoke with you about three years ago when the horse was three and we had just had him diagnosed by muscle biopsy with the PSSM condition. At that time, you and I discussed feeding options for him. I want you to know that in the past three years he has been very successfully maintained on So. States feed. He gets the Triple Crown low starch pellets, the Triple Crown Safe Starch forage instead of hay, and I have recently added the pelleted rice bran for the extra fat content. The horse is now six years old and has last year placed 10th at the AQHYA World Show in Performance Geldings and placed 7th at the Congress in Youth Trail, among his other accomplishments. We could not have successfully maintained this special needs horse without his Triple Crown feeding program. We have been feeding him your products religiously and he has been, for the most part, symptom free. If you ever need a poster child for your starch free products or to promote your feed for PSSM horses, we would be happy to help. AQHA did a short article on him and my daughter for the American Quarter Horse Foundation because they are researching PSSM and because my daughter is a scholarship recipient. His picture and story is being used in their promotional materials for the Foundation as well. Thanks for you help several years ago.

I have a 17 year old thoroughbred that I could not get and keep weight on. I tried Purina Equine Senior then added Equipride with no results. I went to the feed store for Moorman's Rice Bran and the owner told me about Triple Crown Senior. I researched it on line and purchased several bags. In one month, feeding 10 lbs. a day split into two feedings, my horse is at his optimum weight and now I will need to reduce the amount fed daily to keep him from getting overweight. Your product is awesome and I am trying to win over other horse owners that have hard keepers or senior horses. I am changing my daughter's morgan hunter to your Lite formula because he becomes fat on air. I am grateful that you guys are out there.  -- Thanks, Jo

I have 10 horses and 1 pony and ALL are fed various forms of Southern States Products. I swear by your products and tell all my Horsy friends to try it too. All of our horses are rescued, so they need as much help as they can get right from the start. Thank you again for such wonderful products that keep my horses happy and healthy.
