OTHER CONSIDERATIONS
Product can be mixed with water to aid in hydration. Product may be mixed with the grain portion of the diet to slow rate of intake.
When feeding as a replacement to feed/grain, should be fed in combination with a minimum of 1% of body weight in hay/pasture.
Provide salt and plenty of fresh, clean water at all times. Keep product fresh in cool, dry storage. Examine product daily. DO NOT use if old, moldy or contaminated with insects.

I started driving miniature horses about 8 years ago. I purchased a tiny, skinny, driving stallion. As soon as the vet took a look at him he gave his seal of disapproval. He wouldn’t geld him due to his poor condition. He told me to feed him TC Safe Starch forage and I wouldn’t have any issues. I did as instructed and my mini, Cricket, has turned out to be a great and healthy driving mini.
My old horse will not even try this product. He sniffs it and tosses it out the way. I wish he would eat it as it looks really nice, however it does not have a nice scent to it.
My super picky hard keeper loves this! Helps promote him to chew his grain more. Plus, he is SUPER particular about hay, and this he LOVES.
My 21 y.o. Peruvian mare had a history of laminitis prior to my adopting her. Now she's on Safe Starch, plus some hay and is doing great! Even the dogs like it & clean up what she misses.
Love this stuff. It has helped my IR horse tremendously. I feed this along with her hay and the 30% Balancer . She is on a limited diet and this stuff helps give her the extra nutrition she needs. I also use it as a forage mat before riding and exercise.

1. One cellulase unit (CU) is defined as the amount of activity that will produce a relative fluidity change of 1 (determined with a calibrated viscometer) in 5 minutes in a defined carboxymethylcellulose substrate at pH 4.5 and 40°C.
