My name is Mary Miller Jordan and I am thrilled to have the opportunity to compete in the Richest Wild Horse Competition in history, the $100,000 Supreme Extreme Mustang Makeover! My partner is "Lindsay's Faith" a 6 year old bay roan Wild Mustang mare. My husband Mike and I adopted Lindsay during the RFD-TV live Supreme Auction along with less than 100 trainers from all over the country. We each have just over 100 days to develop a partnership built on mutual respect and trust. On August 14th we will gather in Fort Worth, Texas to compete for $100,000 in awards! However, the true reward is the relationship we are developing with one another. I can not express what a wonderful experience this is. Lindsay is already part of the family here at High Cotton Horse Farm.
I choose Triple Crown feed for Lindsay for a multitude of reasons. Primarily the fact that TC feed has such a low starch content and provides feed products from forage and non-grain products. It is becoming more and more apparent how susceptible our equine friends are to stomach ulcers. Considering the drastic lifestyle change Lindsay is experiencing as well as the amount of traveling she will have to endure I wanted to be certain her diet was conducive to a healthy stomach. I have personally experienced horses with stomach ulcers and it is amazing how detrimental it is to their overall well being and comfort. Horses are designed to eat forage continually throughout they day and Lindsay has always been on just that...either free choice pasture out on the range or free choice hay when at the holding facility. She has never had grain by-products and considering the higher starch content in grain, I see no need to initiate that now. TC offers complete feeds and fortified forage low in starch and containing no grain, ideal for Lindsay's system, as well as any horse for that matter. We are beginning by using the TC Safe Starch Forage. It is a mixture of hay fortified with vitamins and nutrients to bring the fat, protein and nutrient level up to that comparable to a concentrate. It is ideal for Lindsay, because as of now she will not eat anything but hay. Any type of concentrate is foreign to her. We will gradually introduce the TC Low Starch pellet as she is comfortable, but it gives me great piece of mind to know that she is getting everything she needs from her fortified forage feed (Safe Starch Forage)
I am proud to have the opportunity to show others what unique and high quality products Triple Crown has to offer. There are quite a few feed companies out there, and I have researched them all. Hotshot is 20 and still at the top of his game and Triple Crown Complete is a big reason for his success. On his previous feed, Hot Shot wasn't performing or looking his best and we knew we needed to make a change. I ride and train barrel horses and have been feeding Triple Crown for several years now, my horses look healthy and perform great. An Event Horse must be a complete package and Triple Crown Complete is just the feed for such an athlete! Since feeding Triple Crown Complete to both my upper level competition horses and my up and coming horses, I have noticed a more consistent and focused energy that takes them through all three phases of competition. I am a professional barrel racer and what I feed my horses is very important. You have to understand what and why you're feeding, to reach the ultimate results. I am continually impressed with the results I see from using the Triple Crown line of feeds. I feed Triple Crown Complete primarily to all of my futurity and derby show horses.
