Select a location where the Tether Treat™ can hang freely and your horse cannot push it against a surface. Use a rope to hang and adjust to a height where your horse has to work to reach it — to provide hours of entertainment with a slow-release, healthy treat.
Provide salt and plenty of fresh, clean water at all times. Keep product fresh in cool, dry storage. Examine product daily. DO NOT use if old, moldy or contaminated with insects.

Unlike other hanging boredom busters, this ISN'T an artificial toy or loaded with sugar, so while my horse has been on stall rest for the last 4, and next 2 months, we’ve kept a handful of tethers on hand!! It’s one of the few toys we’ve found that he actually enjoys to have hanging in front of him!
As a bonus- I was able to convince the feed store I work at to bring these in and we’ve heard nothing, but wonderful things from customers as well!
Triple Crown graciously sent me 2 treats for my mares. Both of my horses are on stall rest for injuries and they both loved it. It looked like they were struggling at first and I was wondering if it was too challenging, but my one mare finished hers within 12 hours and the other one polished hers off in 2 days. Since the horses are not in work, I did not want to give them the sugary treats on the market. I love that these are forage based. I cannot wait for them to be available in Arizona.
My horse loved to play with this and it was a nutritious treat to enjoy.
My horse has never had a hanging treat or lick before. The sugary boredom busters do not make sense to me, but the Tether Treat is genius! I received two samples and hung the first one in his stall during a rainy week. He immediately was curious and started spinning and swinging it with his lips. He was obsessed with it and ate it in three days. The second one lasted a week when he was out on pasture and only in for the night. I sure hope the product comes out on the market soon! Hurricane season is around the corner, and it would be great to stock up on these for when the horses are stuck inside.
